Honningsyp is a traditional Bornholm drink made from schnapps and honey. The honey may have originally been added to mask the taste of poor-quality spirits, but in this version from Den Bornholmske Spritfabrik, the key word is quality! Bottled at 32% alcohol, it can be enjoyed whenever you feel the urge for a small sip of Bornholm's history.

The old steam distillery in Hasle, built in 1855, was known for producing spirits of the highest quality. However, it was closed shortly after World War I, and Bornholm was (officially) without distillation for the next seventy years, with Bornholmer Akvavit produced everywhere but on Bornholm. In 1994, Den Bornholmske Spritfabrik finally resumed the noble tradition of Bornholm spirits! The production is characterized by craftsmanship and quality ingredients.
